C6 Corvette Details

The Corvette is what it is and always has been: a 2 seat American sports car. The beastly coupe is harnessed by a Borg Warner, six-plate, dual-clutch, seven-speed automatic gearbox and its correlating magnesium paddle shifters that make the transmission on the Nissan GT-R unlike any you've ever experienced before. Equipped with an automatic transmission, the Corvette achieves 18/26 mpg (city/highway), and the manual transmission is slightly better at 18/28. The 2007 Corvette is largely unchanged from last year. With so much torque to tame, it isn’t a problem in the least that the back tires won’t always have everything perfectly under control.
